Deleting some QB information

I'm using Quickbooks Pro 2005 and about to sell this business.

Is there a way to delete certain items namely the check register while leaving other items such as Customer List, Invoice copies etc.

The check register is somewhat confidential, while the new owner needs to be able to see past invoices etc for guidelines what to charge and what the customer previouly ordered.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can go to the top of a check register and the click Ctrl-D on each transaction. This works fairly fast. For an automated way, see
