Exporting Lists into Quickbooks

I was wondering if anyone exported a customer list into quickbooks from excel but the name and address did not go across but down for ex:

I cannot be sure exactly what you are asking from your email, but I am taking a guess.

I think what you need is to fix the file in Excel before "importing" into QB. Excel has a function called "Transpose" which allows you to take an array and make the old columns into rows and the old rows into columns. Try looking at the Excel help files regarding this function. If this is what you need and you need more help regarding this function, you can post to newsgroup "microsoft.public.excel.worksheet.functions".

Your client did not map columns correctly when importing.

forget original post, did not realize this was the format of name in Excel before import. Transpose is the solution.
