exporting a mailing list

I would like to export a clients customer file into excell so they can send out a mailer. This seams like it should be an easy task. I have tried to run a report, customer list but it doesnt give me all the info I need. (address, city, state). Is there a place to export this info. Im probally overlooking something stupid but I dont see it.

If I right click on the report there is no field for address, city, state, zip. The customer wants to do a mailer and needs all of those. Surely there has to be some way to export that?

You can create a data source from within Excel and query the Customer table in RMS. Then you can save the Excel file and refresh the query each time you open it to have an updated list.

In the reports library on Customer Source there is a mailing list report.

do you have all fields that you need?

Why don't you just use WORD's built in mail merge? Create a ODBC connection and have at it. mt
