Is there a way to convert a Customer to a Job?

Is there an easy way to convert a Customer record to become a Job under some other Customer? I mean other than manually copying all the data from the old Customer to the new Job.

This is exactly what I need to do, but I can't seem to follow your instructions. By "right--pull" do you mean dragging with a right- click?

Pull with your left click.

It won't let me do that (goes straight to context menu). I'm trying to do this from the Customer Center in Quickbooks Contractor

2009 Premier Industry edition. Many thanks, Les...

If pulling and dragging is a hassle then drag to the right to make the customer a job of the customer above it then edit the customer that is now a job and change its customer using the customer drop down list now available.
