I have been told that there is a limitation of vendors allowed in QB
2007. The number is about 2500.
1.Other then buy a $2500.00 program from Intuit, is there a workaround for this limitation?

Where have been told this? The limit is 10,000 for any individual list, and
14,500 for all lists combined - Enterprise solutions doubles that number.If you need Enterprise then a way of getting the program is to join the Pro Advisor program. You get both Premier and Enterprise Solutions with your membership.
