OT what came first?

Question

I've been watching with great amusement the recent TV commercials (They can also be viewed on YouTube.com) for Axe Fragrance that show women going crazy after a man spays the product on. The women loose all control and start chanting "Bom Chicka Wah Wah".

Spelling not being one of my strong points I wanted to see if the chant had any meaning so I googled "Boom Chicka Wah Wah".

I now have this burning question running through my mind as to which expression came into being first?

Being a CPA I am prohibited from going into any more detail then I have already done. I leave it up to you to do your own research into this matter.

If this is the start of the great debate of 2007 just remember who is responsible for bringing it to the world's attention.

Yes indeed, why would a fragrance company run a national ad campaign with such a hook?I do try my best. This newsgroup has become a little stale and requires a spark to get it going once again.

And I guess being a CPA you are prevented from elucidating the question properly as well. "Which" implies a choice from an enumeration of at least two.

Not being a CPA I fail to understand the question. Or is this an "inside" question?

The urban dictionary shows two defintions for the phrase. The second defintion is somewhat... um... more controversial than the advertisements' implication that the product attracts "hot" females. Though the etymology of the phrase may indeed reflect the hot steamy nature. Which hot and steamy concept came first is the question.
