This is my first year trying to figure out how to print 1099 and 1096 using quickbooks. Here is my understanding. Please let me know if i am missing anything:
I have 3 sets of forms. a) Pre printed COPY A 1099 Miscellaneous Income form which goes to IRS. 2 items per page. b) Pre printed 1096 form titled Annual Summary and Transmittal of US Information Returns which goes to IRS. Only one item per page. c) Perforated blank page to print VENDOR COPY (???). 3 items per page.(???).
I wanted to know how to print the above item c) i.e. VENDOR COPY or CONTRACTORS COPY. I don't know the correct name of the form since all i have is a blank white page where i see 2 lines of perforation equally divides the page to 3 portions. I tested printing COPY A 1099 and 1096 from quickbooks and it worked great. But I am trying to findout the option to print the vendor copy on the blank perforated sheet. Any help is greatly appreciated.
