It means the pieces of shit that write computer viruses should be punished a hell of more when caught, than they do now. The sad fact is that the preventive measures are sometimes as bad as the virus itself.

I found the problem, apparently Kaspersky firewall dis-enabled the qbupdate.exe in the startup program manager. After re-enabling QB now loads to the password window in 35 secs and opens after log in in approx 25 secs. much better.... mc

Now wouldn't it be nice if you didn't need the firewall to begin in the first palce. Unfornunatley you do, blame that on the scum that shares this world with us.

Glad you've solved your problem. As a matter of interest, Norton AntiVirus is said to slow one's system, so that, for example, speech recognition enthusiasts - speech recognition being a particularly resource hungry application - tend to avoid it in favour of leaner antivirus programs. I recently changed to PC-cillin for this reason.

All AntiVirus programs by their nature slow down the system. People who create viruses are scum sucking bastards and should eat shit and die.

Micros~1 is on the case. The latest update to the MS Anti-Spyware (beta) product identifies Norton AV as spyware and attempts to remove it. NAV, as anyone who HAS tried to remove it knows, is tenacious and resists all standard attempts to scrape away its barnacle nature (you usually need special NAV-removal tools from the Symantec site).

That is because NAV is a CWM product. All CWM products are removed from any MS OS system. CWM = Competes With Microcrap.
