QB 2006 Pro integration

Is there a way to make QB Pro 2006 integrate with RMS 1.2. It seems that Intui has changed the db format, ( it looks like SQL).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also where can I get the service packs for RMS?

QB is now moved to Sybase SQL version. They have an SDK available for devellopers. I am not sure what Microsoft is planning to do with the new version of QB.

We had QB 2003 setup, and upgraded to 2005, and then just installed QB 2006 Pro. We havent had any problems with any versions so far... By the way QB

2006 is a lot nicer this year...( feature wise )

You can download the RMS Service packs from Customer Source, but you must be on a maintenance plan to access them. If you don't know how to access Customer Source, contact your reseller.

The database format of QB should not affect the integration; the integration is using an SDK, not direct access of the Quickbooks database.

Only the US versions of QB will integrate, so if you are located elsewhere, you will be limited to the quickbooks file based integration.

I haven't tried QB 2006 yet, so they may have changed the components that RMS was using. Make sure that Quickbooks is running on the same system as SO Manager when you try to post your batches. Also make sure that you have opened and logged into the correct company file before trying to post. The first time that you try to connect from RMS to Quickbooks, QB should display a message saying that an application is trying to connect and asking if you want to allow it.
