Is it possible ,if the QB is on a server, to automatically produce a daily report with NO OPERATOR PROMPT. The owner of the Business can then call wireless using PDA to access say an Excel printout from the QB on the server.
I am aware of the daily schedule of QB backups, but what I am not aware of, is to actually run a report automatically. Is that possible?
If you have knowledge and access of a general scripting program, I'm sure that it can be done. It can't be done using only QB. You need third party software.

Not sure what you mean, "run a report" You can display a report, print a report, export a report.
You can set Report preferences to automatically refresh a report when you look at it. You can save your QB "desktop" with a P&L report open, so QB will always open with a P&L report displayed - and it will be automatically updated whenever you look at it. Is that what you mean?
You cannot, however, cause QB to print or export a report without operator intervention.
