Setting Default Orientation for Printing Reports

I'm trying to have all my reports default to "Portrait" over "Landscape". My system used to default to this but something has changed. I've tried switching to Portrait but it always defaults back to Landscape.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How are you trying to switch to portrait?

When I click either on the printer icon or from FILE->PRINT REPORT. The window that pops up next has an ORIENTATION setting and that is were it defaults to LANDSCAPE.

Are these memorized reports or QB provided?

QB provided reports but also happens after I have reconciled and just say PRINT both.

I pulled up a few reports. The P&L and Balance sheet were set as Portrait. Are yours? Other reports that had more columns were set as landscape. It seems to be a function of the report but I certainly did find some that were automatically set as portrait.

Under File/Printer Setup you can change the default orientation for reports for any of your printers.

Correct. For my reports I have the default set at "smart orientation" so that the width of the report drives the orientation.
