I use only 2 items for invoicing (data & consulting) and I track revenue by these two categories as well. I have a customer for which I need to invoice data and consulting, but I only want to show a summary of both on the invoice. Is there a way to do this? Thanks in Advance.

Yes. Create a "Group" Item that includes the 2 items. Group Items have an option to either print the component items separately or print just the total, but in either case the components are displayed on the Invoice Form when you enter data.
