Is it possible to make Windows Live Mail the email program that QB 2009 uses for sending out estimates & invoices? Currently I only have a choice under My Preferences/Send Forms of Outlook Express or QuickBooks E-mail.
If so how do you go about setting it up?
Thanks,
Gary

I am guessing that you are using XP as your operating system.
WLM is equivalent to Outlook express. Make WLM your default e-mail program under Tools>>options. Then change the preference in QB to use Outlook express. That should be all that you need to get it to work.
If QB is hard wired to look for OE on XP machines then you will need to set it up for your e-mail account. The interface is very similar to WLM. Go to Tools>>accounts and add your e-mail account.
BTW, you are using an out dated version of WLM.
From another newsgroup: It might be a good idea if recommending the WLM 2009 version instead of
2011 to use the 2009 version released in May 2010 since it includes and updated contacts and supporting files for the communication client(used by WLM and WLMsgr).
