2003 - trick to keep things the way they are?

I am presently using 2003

My bank credit card (Citibank Master Card), is not supporting 2006 and therefore, upgrading will create problems for me.

I'm wondering about purchasing an older version of Quicken, ideally 2005, but 2004 if necessary.

Here's what I want to do and I would like to know if 2005 supports this:

I can download qif files from my bank for both my checking accounts and my credit card. Will 2005 support importing qif files the way 2003 does?

I download directly from Fidelity Brokerage. I can do this now with 2003 so I would expect later versions would also support it.

I download directly from AMEX. I can do this now with 2003 so I would expect later versions would also support it.

So, can I get 2005 or do I need to get 2004?

It seems to me this would buy me two years of continuing to do things the way I want to do them rather than being dictated to by Quicken upgrades.

Thanks.

Louise

Just get Q2006. I've used all the versions you mention, and I find 2006 to be the most stable (and it has more features). It also does direct downloads for all the institutions you mention, very simple to setup. Plus, you'll have three years before you experience another "sunset."
