The Amex web site, and downloading into Quicken, have both been problematic for about a week now.

The message I originally received was that it had timed out. Presently, error recovery does not work nor does deactivating, reactivating. This am I was not able to access the amex web site, but despite a long wait was able to get to the site this afternoon.
One Syep Update appears to be back up now, although I was still seeing some strange messages when I attempted an error recovery. Something about "Error Recovery will not work, but the next complete download will". When I did a complete download, there were no new transactions, so I can't tell if everything is back or not.
I've been having problems throughout the day as well. After repeatedly trying to reactivate, it finally went through. Then I had to try to download transactions a few times in a row before it would "take" and give me new transactions w/o an error message.
Checking the web site, same problem -- it would tell me "currently unavailable" some times, and other times will work.
