AMEX Credit Card Question

I am conssidering getting an AMEX credit card. What I don' t know is how the AMEX systems interface with Quicken. Specifically I want to be able to download current transactions into Quicken. This is possible with CitiBank Credit cards, but it is not possible with Credit Card processed by MBNA.

Thank you and have a nice day. _______ Gordon Potter Atlanta, GA

Plus AMEX is a direct connect download!

Amex acocunts can be downloaded automatically into Quicken. The only problem I've had is with a business Amex account. It downloads the initial transactiosn with no problem, then a week or so later downloads a duplicate set.

I've just been running on Quicken 2007 for a couple days. Initial "One Steps" as I setup accounts seem to be sometimes successful but AMEX (I've got a Bluecash card) worked OK for setup and several downloads for transactions since.

I have an AMEX Green and a "Blue" card. "One Step Update" handles them without any problems (Q07 & Q08 Deluxe).
