QuickBooks Platinum Plus for Business MasterCard

Hi,

I'd like to get a credit card that will download into QuickBooks just as easily as my bank account. My bank supports QuickBooks direct connect which works wonderfully.

I could get the QuickBooks Platinum Plus for Business MasterCard, but it doesn't offer a rebate and I would like to get a rebate card.

It's hard to find a *QuickBooks* card since most credit card company morons say, "Yes we support downloading to Quicken". Not Quicken! QuickBooks! Morons! They don't understand the difference.

Any advice?

Thanks, John

Go to the banking menu and select "setup online services" ==> and "online financial institutions list"

Any bank in that list that issues credit cards will be able to download into QuickBooks.

Differing banks have differing procedures -- it is the individual CC provider that is responsible for the download interface. And yes, you *will* have to blast past the standard customer service rep for the rep that understands the difference between Quicken and QuickBooks if you have problems.

I have used AMEX, MBNA (the previous QB card provider) and Citibank cards with only minor glitches. For AMEX, you will have to log in to their site, and click on 'Download to Quicken or Money' to get to a screen that will allow you to set QuickBOOKS as your default download software.

MBNA does support Platinum Plus for Business QuickBooks with a Rewards program. Downloading in to QuickBook is direct connect not web connect. All you need is your Customer ID and your initial PIN and you can download all your business credit card transaction directly in to your QuickBooks software.

By the way, Citibank use to have the endorsed from Intuit for QuickBooks. MBNA has it now.

And John on another note....if you have a QuickBooks Platinum Plus for Business credit card with MBNA and it does not have a rewards program, ask them to enroll you in the program. Currently, MBNA Business Cards accounts do not have a REBATE program.

Thanks for all the information. I'll check out the MBNA card. I would prefer a REBATE card, but REWARDS are better than nothing.

THANKS! John

Of course, the consumer is paying for those rewards, not the credit card company!
