If so perhaps you can help me.
Back in September Halifax ran a "10 pound offer" promotion where they credited your account for ukp 10, which you could keep provided your spent a certain amount (ukp 100 I think) within a certain time period.
The credit was placed on my account on September 12th. I used my card on October 17th for a purchase over the minimum qualifying amount. My November statement showed the 10 pound credit and this was applied against the total. So far so good :)
I've received my December statement and this shows that a reversal has been done for the 10 pound credit. I now owe the Halifax a tenner - not so good :(
I keep all my statements, but unfortunately the terms and conditions of the
10 pound offer was not on the statement but rather on a brochure which I got rid off. Let him/her who has never thrown away the brochures in their monthly statements without reading them cast the first stone :)The reversal may very well be correct I accept, but as I don't have the terms and conditions of the 10 pound promotion to hand I can't tell. It would be useful to clarify before I waste my time/money dialling their 0845 number - yes I read the thread on 0870/0845 rip-offs :)
Did any one on the group with a Halifax Platinum Mastercard keep the brochure about the 10 pound offer? If so I'd appreciate your letting me know the time period over which it applied.
Thanks & Best Wishes
