Another non-update Update....

Looks like there was another very small update this morning that did not roll the rev number...

Happened to me too. I clicked on the desktop ICON, and IMMEDIATELY Q asked if I wanted to do an 'update'. The only explicit item I saw deliniated in the update dialog box was 'Quicken System' (and perhaps some other words too). Then, after the update was complete (Very quick), it asked if I wished to start Q which came up fine.

I really don't think I've ever seen this behavior before.

Q 2005 Premier, still at R3 level after this.

It happened to me too. Same thing happened and was questioned in late March. I don't think we figured it out then, either.

Are these something as simple as updates to the financial institution list??

If it is, it's being done differently than ever before. Financial instituiton updates are ususally done during the one step update or individual bank updates etc. For this, when you click the shortcut to open Quicken, it says there is an update, do you want to install it. If you click yes, it zips through. Doesn't seem at all like your usual update and I've had five versions of Quicken over ten years.

Actually JM my case, it was. This indeed was the "(and perhaps some other words too)." that I hasd stated in my original post.

Thanks for jogging my memory.

But as JM mentioned, that usually happens in other update places. I've never seen it happen as soon as I've started Q with the experience I quoted.
