That's not new, is it? I don't use that feature, but I thought it was already available in 06 or even 05.

Q2005 had no document attachment features. Q2006 permitted the attachment of some types of already scanned documents. I believe Q2007 goes one step further and participates in the scanning, or the output of the scanning process.
