PRINTING
- Returned the ability to change fonts used for printing checks. Customization is allowed for text that will not interfere with it being Check 21 image compatible. To remain image compatible, font customization will continue be restricted for a select number of fields.
Note: Standard and voucher checks printed in Quicken 2005 will be accepted by your financial institution under the Check 21 guidelines. If you are using wallet style checks Intuit can not guarantee they will be accepted by your financial institution. We recommend that you purchase standard or voucher style checks for use with Quicken 2005 or upgrade to Quicken 2006 which supports Check 21 requirements with wallet checks.

FILE BACKUP
- Fixed a problem where the Windows Installer dialog appears when trying to backup a file in Windows XP or Windows 2000.
Privacy Statement
- Updated descriptions of our privacy practices for our online services available through Quicken.com and included descriptions for new features, such as the discussion forums."

Q2005 startup popped a box yesterday saying updates were available. I wouldnt call it "stealth", as during that download, it displayed "updating financial institutions". It did not update the previous R4 program level, which was available a month or two before.
