Asset Class - American Century Intl Bond shows as Domestic

I have American Century Intl Bond (BEDBX) and the Quicken Asset Class shows: Mixture with Domestic Bonds = 97%

Why ? Where can I look on the web, or American Century to see how the Asset Class should be defined and the misute of the holdings...

BEGBX for those trying to follow along.

I can not tell you for certain, just a guess (from Q2002 deluxe for Windows, US). The asset classes come from Value Line, and there is no Value Line asset class for global bonds (despite the presence of that class in Quicken's asset class mixture). See

Investing > Asset Allocation Guide > How do I update asset classes > Common questions about downloading asset classes > What asset classes are assigned and where do they come from

When I look at the Value Line data supplied by one of my fi's, they show BEGBX as having a "Portfolio Composition" that is

96.61% "bonds" ... no distinction for domestic or foreign.

My guess is that you may have to tell Quicken not to download asset class info for BEGBX, and you enter the asset class breakdown manually in Quicken.

Just as I was about to log off of my fi's web site, I re-read the screen, and I now think I was *not* looking at Value Line data, but "MarketWatch" supplied data; sorry for any confusion.

Here is how Morningstar defines it - World Bond - but yet no % breakdown, maybe Quicken is then confused since the weighting is all zeroes...
