Attachments and Year End

Why tyhe need to make a new file? Just keep using the old one, but make sure you have a good backup. Reports is what you need.

After posting my question, I think I found the answer myself ...... If I use File | Copy, instead of year-end copy, I can make a copy of only the prior year's data (there's an option to choose the period of time you want) and save it separate and apart from the rest of the data without losing the attachments. I did that for 1-1-06 thru 12-31-06 and 1-1-07 thru the last entry date, renamed the copied '07 data file to 2007, and I'm good to go.

Please don't attach gif files to your postings.

If I want to search a prior year, I just open that year's file.
