I have recently been exploring automated links from Quicken into Execl using both the excellent quickaccess.xla excel addin and the DDE calls which existed up to Quicken 2000.
I found that with a few of my accounts both methods returned a zero balance when a specific date was given. Giving no date returned the current ballance correctly.
Further exploration indicates that if a Quicken Account Name is longer than 15 chars then the "Account Balance" at a specified date will fail returning 0.00.
Has anyone else experienced this problem?
