Cant access data from CDs

On quicken personal plus 2004,can't read quicken files saved to CDs. Can read from other means of backup eg USB. Using rewritable CDs. Any one else?

In general, CD files are marked "Read Only". Q won't work with R/O files. Copy them to the hard drive and turn off the R/O attribute.....
