I'm running 2006 basic and want to get rid of the cash register "kachink" sound when I record a transaction. I change it, save the scheme to a new title and exit. When I go back to my register, the same old sound is there. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
Click on Start, click on the Control Panel, click on Sounds and Audio Devices, the click on Sounds. Scroll down until you get to Quicken, then deselect the sound, click ok.
