CitiCards Update

I just spoke to the folks at CitiCards, regarding the inability for Quicken to connect to accounts.

It's still an "open ticket," with no estimated completion date.

I've experienced no problem with my Citicard (Signature VISA). Perhaps this is on an account by account basis? Or a particular card type??

Anything's possible!

The two cards that I've been having problems with are Mastercards.

Apparently, they're also having problems with their Virtual Account Numbers.

Thanks for posting this Notan. Our is a Citi AAdvantage Mastercard card and it has stopped downloading transactions, although it does update the balance.

Since the problem still exists I've just sent e-mail to Citibank telling them that we're also experiencing the problem, and that information about the problem is being shared on this newsgroup. I've asked if they have any status update and to add me to their list if they're keeping a list of people to notify when the problem is fixed.

When I spoke to CS/TS, they said they knew there was a problem, but didn't have any idea when the problem would be resolved. "If you're still having problems, in a few week, call back" was their answer.

I suggested, that if this was an ongoing problem, that they post the current status of Quicken and Virtual Account Numbers, on the web site.

I won't hold my breath!

They responded today that they are working on the problem, but suggested that I try to deactivate and then activate online transactions. I had actually tried that last week and it didn't make any difference then -- but today that did resolve the problem.

Typically, it resolves the problem until it, again, doesn't work!

Fingers crossed, still breathing,

I've been having this trouble with a replacement mastercard account for over a month. On Fri. when I called in they told me it had been resolved but then they still couldn't get my account to activate. After a couple of hours he finally connected me to Quicken tech support. They were going to charge me $24.95 to talk to them but, in the end, after 2 hr. with her, she was unable to get it to work either and told me to call Quicken MasterCard back again.

Have any of you had any success at be>> >>
