Collapsing Downloaded Transactions/Bill and Income Reminders pane

[Qkn Dlx 2014 R3 on Vista Ultimate SP2]
After upgrading to Q14, most every time I open an account register the Down loaded Transactions/Bill and Income Reminders pane is open for view. This pa
ne below the account registers used to be collapsed, and I opened the pane infrequently as needed with arrow icon on right-hand side of pane tab bar, or clicking on the appropriate tab. Now I have to click such arrow icon to collapse and gain as full a view of register as possible.
Have looked through Qkn Preferences menu but haven't found an option to lan d on an account with register using all available space and the subject pan e collapsed.
Any ideas, please?

It's a known problem. You'll have to wait for subsequent releases to see when/if Intuit will fix it.
