Current Budget Report vs Planning view discrepancy

The original poster is mistaken: there is no "discrepancy" in reporting pro-rated budget amounts when the user has chosen a named report interval whose name ends in " ... to date". By pro-rating the budget amounts, Quicken is insuring that both the budget and actual amounts are equivalent for the named date range, i.e.: "to date".The original poster also mistakenly assumes that no other treatment of budget amounts in Quicken budget reports is possible.
To see actual amounts compared to non-pro-rated budget amounts, the user just needs to chose a non-to-date date range for the report: "Yearly", for example. Choosing such a date range tells Quicken to include the full budget amount for each "interval" chosen.
