Show payment received date on report

There's much wrong with the complaint in the above discussion.

- The original poster has not provided his Quicken release

- The original poster has not supplied the (Quicken) name of the report

- The original poster has not said whether the report in question is a "saved" report, or a report run from scratch

I have tested (in R37.67) the Business > Profit and Loss Statement, the Schedule C report, the Business > Cash Flow report and the Spending > Income/Expense by Category report. ALL treat invoice payment transactions correctly for "Cash basis" reporting.

If the op is using a "saved" Quicken report, he should try creating the same report from scratch to see if that changes the results.

And the op should also be aware that the Quicken Preference for "Cash basis"/"Accrual basis" reporting can be overridden by individual reports. See the Advanced tab in the report Customize dialog. While the Quicken "Reports and Graphs" preference may be set to "Cash-bases where applicable", that preference can be overridden in any applicable report ... and then saved if/when the report is saved.

[I doubt seriously that Quicken will consider adding a transaction date (or any transaction detail) to any report which does not already show transaction detail. But many reports that show summary information (such as the reports I tested above) allow the user to drill-down (double click) on a row in the report to reveal the underlying transactions.]
