Setting up date range for budget?

When you say "analysis", I think "budget report"; but when you say "based on", I think "budget setup".

In "Budget > Setup", when you select "Create" and "Automatic"; you get a dialog box that allows you to select the date range, and source, of amounts that the new budget will be initially based on. You can subsequently change any of the budget amounts as you see fit. You can manually include the date range as part of the budget name if you wish.

When you create a Budget Report, you can customize that report to use any existing budget and to include actual amounts for any date range.

Thanks. I am able to do this on a "new" budget but NOT an existing one correct?

I answered my own question; I just needed to "Start Over" for an existing budget.
