Recently opened new treasury direct acc't, transferred $ from savings to this acc't. When I open "Cash Flow Center" in 2005p r3 this shows as an expense. I customized to Exclude Internal but this did not change anything. Any ideas on why $ moved from 1 asset to another equals an expense?
It's not an expense, but it is a cash flow. The cash flow center is telling you where your cash went, which could be the purchase of an asset or an expense.
That makes sense; I was thrown off base by the terminology as qkn calls it an expense. Makes the graph of income vs expense VERY lopsided.
You got that right. In my case, I've customized the graph to show only income and expenses. To me, this provides better information.
