SO Manager|Database|Tender Types|Visa properties... Set tender type to 'cash' if you don't use RMS to process CC transactions.

1) Overide the deposit for a work order (rather than hitting f9 and setting deposit to zero every time manually) 2) overide the Visa so I do not have to enter the visa number etc..Thanks Brent

My partner set these up when we first got RMS. I was new to RMS at the time and never really gave it a second thought. I'm probably not going to change it now, as we use a dedicated CC terminal and have no plans to integrate CC processing with RMS.
I'll agree that 'Other' is probably a better choice than 'Cash', but I wonder exactly what difference it makes in the end.
Under what circumstances would there be any significant difference?
