Using Q2013. I have several accounts that have been closed. When I go to transfer money between active accounts, the transfer categories for the closed accounts still show up. There seems to be no way to delete these categories. Any ideas? Thanks, AR

Tools / Account, then edit the account. Either mark the account as closed, or click on the Display Options tab and check the "Hide in Transaction List" option.

A third way, the most brutal, is to delete the closed account altogether IF ONE CAN. There are irrevocable ramifications of doing so, however. But for an old account that is (a) deletable and (b) you don't care about the transactions, that's another method.

All my closed accounts are closed and marked "Hide in Transaction List". They still show up in the transfer categories

=========================================== You could consider renaming them (like zXXX) so they'd be at the bottom of the list and you'd not see them unless you scrolled down. Geo.

It's probably not a good idea to delete the accounts unless you are ABSOLUTELY certain they do not have any transfer activity between accounts that remain active and of interest. Geo.
