deleting zero transactions

I have a *lot* of zero-dollar transactions clogging up my register. I'd like to delete them. Is there some easy way to do that? I did a "find" to find them all, selected them. But the 'find' dialogue doesn't seem to have any way to delete the found transactions.

Sort the register by amount (click on the amount header to do that), then navigate to the zero-dollar transactions, which will all be together. Select them all, then right-click on one and choose Delete.

Sort the register by an amount column. Then you may select the range of zero-dollar transactions and delete them.

Always save a data file backup before making any significant changes.

Perfect -- easy and straightforward. Thanks /b\

The same technique works for tracking down differences between the online balance and the register balance. This is usually some uncleared transaction up higher in the register. Sort on the cleared column to find it quickly.

You're welcome. Glad to help.
