Deleting multiple transactions in a register

Using Q Deluxe 2006

Is there a way to quickly delete over 100 transactions in a credit card register? Deleting a single transactions seems to be a lot slower than previous versions. (Probably because it now saves so that you can undo the delete.) Is there a way to turn the undo off?

I've tried going to the register report, highlighting several transactions, right mouse click. The option seems to be there, but when multiple transactions are highlighted, the option goes grey. (Delete and Cntrl + D, also doesn't work.)

Thanks.

Using Quicken 2006 Premier, I've just tried it and could delete multiple transactions. The delete option in the right-click menu did not gray out.

I'm using H&B 2005. I just selected almost 600 transactions in my Visa account, right clicked ... and the delete option was still available.

Thanks.

I may have some corruption in my file, even though Validate doesn't catch it. If I don't select the first entry or any entry that has a Split, then I can delete multiple transactions.

It may not be corruption. Try Customizing to NOT show the "Breakdown of split trans.". That allowed me to delete split transactions.

I can't explain the "first entry" ... unless that was a split too.
