Did everyone uninstall release 2

One other poster on here told me to uninstall release 2 which I had previously allowed to be installed last week, due to report problems. I went through that routine tonight due to more than one occurrence of problems.

Has everyone else done the same yet?

I have left R2 in place even though it is causing problems with reports. It has not effected my most used reports (except 1, which I have been able to re-create). I guess I will do w/o the other reports until when/if intuit gets around to fixing the problem ... If I find I cannot work around the issue I would remove the R2 (reinstall Q6).

I intended to leave R2 in place, as my saved reports were unaffected. (I was able to duplicate the reporting bugs others mentioned.) I finally reverted to R1 yesterday, however. I don't know that this is necessarily related to R2, but while I was working in Quicken, it moved to the background, and although I was able to bring it to the foreground, I could do nothing in Quicken. Every mouse click, etc., generated a beep. I finally had to terminate Quicken using Task Manager, even though it claimed Quicken was running fine (which it obviously wasn't). When I re-ran Quicken, everything seemed fine. I've never had this happen before, but it made me think twice about keeping R2 installed, since we really don't know what other bugs might be lurking within it. :-)

Margaret

Not only did I uninstall r2 & revert, today I discovered that $35 had been mysteriously added to my checking acc't balance. Apparently r2 or program crashes corrupted the data; I backup every time I exit qkn so tried restoring the backup from each day before today's discovery & all showed the extra $35 -- however backup from 10/6 was accurate. As I downloaded r2 10/7, I'm fairly confident that or the subsequent crashes of qkn caused the problem.

At the risk of going against the grain, I for one did NOT revert. I can make do without the ability to sort by payee or account for the time being. Hopefully, they promised that the R3 will be out at the end of this week or early next, so I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt at this point. I figure I'd risk more damage to undo to a previous level of Q (something that I've never done before) than sit and wait for another week or so.

To conclude my thoughts in this thread, R3 actually came out 2 days after this post, well before the end of the week.
