I have no idea why you would update a 6 year version with a 3 year old version when Intuit has a 3 year sunset policy. Quicken 2011 is readily available most anywhere. Prices that I am aware of are:
From Intuit - $59.99 From Staples - $59.99 From Sam's Club - $39.88
All of the above prices are either "Box" or "Download". Personally, I like boxed versions of software.
Your issue should not have anything to due with Intuit thinking you have Q2005. When you update, you update. Intuit doesn't care where you bought your software, as long as it's "genuine".
- Look within this newsgroup, you will find that a number of people are having problems downloading from B of A. The specific thread that I have in mind is shown below, but my recollection is that there have been others. You will have to search. I don't bank at B of A, so I can't help you.
"More Bank of America problems?"
