Asked question in the community also. This is something from a long time ago that showed up today. Do not remember what I did since I wasn't paying attention and did not expect it to happen. I know there was a fix, but do not remember it or have those notes anymore.

Ken, what are you talking about, as also Superuser ps56k2 asked in your community post? An empty folder on the desktop for what? What is it's name? Are you sure it is a Quicken-related creation? Do you really mean a folder, or a link?
I would agree with the other community post than was there that if it is truly an empty folder, one could delete it but remember what the name was just in case so you could recreate it if needed!
I tend to delete things too fast. Yes, it was a folder icon. If it does come back I will look closer.
