Error Recovery

Jul 04, 2007 2 Replies

I tried to delete a repeating transaction and there was a problem wtih the dates, Quicken sent the transaction to stop a payment that was in the past and the update failed but now stuck in error recover mode every time I try to go online- and can't figure out how to edit the transaction because it says I have to wait until the error recovery runs?

The transaction is with Bank of America, any idea how to delete the transaction or get past the recovery mode, thanks.

Tried that before I posted the message. Interesting, the problem corrected itself this morning. My auto update tried to run and failed. When I opened Quicken, there was a message to say that my requests were unable to be sent and had been cancelled, I should check with my bank to see if the requested changes had gone through or not. Since the change wasn't really an issue, I went ahead and did an update and this time, it worked and brought everything up to date.

I was getting ready to try reloading the software (Quicken 2006 Deluxe btw) and was going to give it one more try. I wonder if there is some timer that resets after 24 hours or something like that to make the update "give up".

Thanks for the reply.
