Export Cash Flow to Excel

I think this is a very basic question, but I can't find the answer.

Using Quicken 2005 Premier, I want to export account data from one of the Cash Flow accounts exactly like it is displayed in Quicken.

i.e.... Date, Num, Payee, Payment, Clr, Deposit, etc., etc...

Thanks...

There is a little "Report" option on the register menu bar. Click on it. The report will pop up. Click on Print, the Print options will pop up. Click on the "print to file" button and select the format that is best for your spreadsheet program.

I appreciate your reply, but I'm still not getting the type of output I want. I did go through the steps you suggested and customized the report to show only the Cash Flow account I wanted to review.

But the problem is that I get a total summary of the cash in/out of that account. I would like to have each transaction showing in my exported file to Excel, not just the summary of all transactions.

What I really want is the complete listing of all transactions as shown on the Register tab for a specific account under the Cash Flow Center. I would like ALL transactions under the Register tab exported to Excel, not just the summary. I can't figure out how to do that.

Recommendations, please!

Try this one ... Open your register At the top right of the register you should see a drop down menu for reports Select register report From this screen you can customize it You can also select print with various options That should give you what you want. Jim M.

That's it!!!! Thanks very much for the reply. Maybe Mike B. was trying to tell me the same thing, but I didn't get it.

Now I do.

Thanks again...

A handy shrt-cut:

Once you have the desired report displayed in QW - right-click on the report. You get several options in a pop-up window - one of which is 'To Excel compatible format'.
