I need a little help with Billminder. When XP starts, Billminder starts also. Billminder does NOT show any alerts when there are alerts. When I start Billminder from Start>Programs>Quicken>Billminder, it shows the alerts. I have deleted the QW.RMD file a couple times, but that does not fix the XP start up problem of not showing alerts in Billminder. HELP!
There have been quite a few complaints about Billminder, most of which have not been solved. I doubt I can change the percentages.
Do you have more than one QW.RMD file? [Make certain that Windows Explorer has access to ALL folders/files on your pc ... and that you are searching in every partition on your pc.]
For those that might need this info. I found and fixed my problem. I went into the registry (regedit)
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
and modified the Billminder value from "billminder.exe -startup" to "billminder.exe".
Billminder starts up and displays the alerts on XP start up now.
