I had some good reason to want to change the Quicken data file name. But when I then loaded the file the data had changed substantially. My net worth had reduced by 2/3. Obviously some transactions got lost in the process.
Any reason why this should happen?

You have good reason to be critical. I normally don't stutter. What happened was that I posted it once ... then received no confirmation that the post was received. So I tried it again ... same result. Finally after the third, all three got accepted.

Yeah, that happens to all of us sometimes. I wasn't meaning to be critical. Just wanted any other readers to know where to look for the responses. Maybe I could have worded it better. ;^}
