In split transaction, what is the "Exp" column?

Can I get rid of it? I've never used it. Such a column does not appear on non-split transactions.

It is a check box for "reimbursable expenses": It has nothing to do with split transactions, and it is available in all transactions (including non-split transactions) in checking, savings, credit card, and bills accounts ... in the Home & Business versions of Quicken. (Look to the right of the Memo field in a two line register display.)

You don't have to use it, but I don't know of any way to prevent the field from displaying.

I should have added: if you're retired, perhaps you don't need the H&B version of Quicken anymore. The "Exp" field only appears in the H&B version of Quicken.
