Money Data Converter runtime error

Intuit's free Data Converter - the one for converting Money files - crashes on my XP, however many times I re-install it or check the registry. I know that it has half worked before, so I doubt the basics of my system are at fault. In the past it used to say that I had no XML file to convert. Now that I have created one the message comes on a pop-up after the crash:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Runtime Errror! Program: C:\Program Files\Data Converter\mny2qdf.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it an an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

Can anyone guess what's wrong? Or who to contact? thanks for any help John Robertson

Do you know the UK Quicken support number?

Intuit's Quicken web site promised support in Quicken 2004 for business until the end of January 2006, but I have never tracked down the number!

Sorry, I don't.

I got the number I posted from my (US) Quicken Help > Product and Customer Support > Contact Intuit and Others.
