Mouse Pointer Snap To in Q2017 on W10

The Quicken behavior of throwing the mouse pointer all over - homing it to upper-left corner, for example - is annoying to say the least. Searching shows its been around for awhile so it must be low on the list of pending fixes (if on the list at all).

Don't know if this is new news or not but FWIW, a kludgy/half-assed [W10?] work-around has surfaced.

A query on the sysopt.com site produced a pointer to

formatting link
that has several Mouse Control Panel shortcuts. One "C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe shell32.dll,Control_RunDLL main.cpl,,2" pops the Mouse Properties Pointer Options tab which allows a Snap To Off before Quicken and then a Snap To On after Quicken closes.

It's not perfect but it's something. The sevenforums site has some cautions about blocked/unblocked shortcuts buts it's no biggie.

Maybe it'll help some (maybe it's old news?). Geo. Salisbury Long Valley, NJ

That's funny. The one place where Quicken implemented the mouse snap-to option is off the screen.
