Quicken 2008 Mouse Wheel Scrolling

Coming from Q05, I'm finding Quicken 2008's scrolling of windows using the mouse scroll wheel to be a bit random. I've never noticed this before, so I'm assuming it didn't happen in Q05. Basically, I can never tell whether the scroll wheel on my Logitech MX600 Cordless Laser Mouse will actually scroll on any given Quicken window. I'm pretty sure that the scroll wheel worked whenever the mouse cursor was even hovering over the frame in question. Now, I sometimes have to click on the proper frame in a window in order to get the scroll wheel to work. Plus, it looks like merely clicking in the border of the frame isn't enough. I actually have to click in the scrollable area. I haven't been able to pin down the behavior yet since something won't work one time but will the next time. The problem is compounded since Quicken doesn't give any indication of which frame has the focus.

As an example, I've set Quicken to start up in the My Data area of the Cash Flow tab. Usually, that page will scroll without problem. But, if I click on the Cash Flow button, my list of Scheduled transactions (which is the only thing on the page showing scroll bars) will not scroll using the mouse wheel (even if I'm hovering over it). Clicking in the frame of that area doesn't help. If I click one of the transactions, my scroll wheel works. At that point, I can't get the behavior to revert back to what it just was. Nothing else has scroll bars on that page, so clicking anywhere on that page doesn't change the focus and the scroll wheel continues to work. Going back to the My Data area and, without clicking anything, using the scroll wheel works correctly. Then, going back to the Cash Flow area gives me a successfully scrolling transaction list without any clicking. But, if I click in a selectable area on the My Data area, the scroll wheel won't work on the Cash Flow area until I click in the Scheduled transaction list again.

Is anyone else seeing this? Maybe it's a combination of Q08 and my MX600. Maybe it's just Quicken. Did anyone see this in previous versions?
