Running QD 2016, R12 This is an old problem, often reported, but I still hope that maybe there's a cure. When I run the net worth report the result differs from the amounts in the account list. On one the difference is exactly $100K. A search doesn't find anything with that value. Not sure why Q looks at all the transactions, when what is needed is just the market value. Any suggestions?

By "account list" do you mean the Account Bar to the side of your screen? Or the CTRL-A (Tools, Account List) display?
Is your Net Worth report running thru today? Or thru the end of the current month?
Also, can you isolate the differences to any particular account, or type of accounts?

absolutely. Usually same two accounts, both are investments. i suspect that in going thru transactions they develop a negative cash balance - but that is always supposed to be zero.

Do you have the Account Bar set to show Current Balance? Or Ending Balance?
And, neither would be the "end of month" balance. Also, have you checked your security list to see if there are erroneous "future dated" quotes?
