Quicken ID

Received the Quicken update to transition from Intuit ID to Quicken ID. The good news is that the update installed with no problem. The bad news is that when I attempt to do an OSU, Quicken hangs on the "Enter Intuit ID - Sign In" screen.

I don't believe the transition to "Quicken ID" has occurred yet. And your prompt, "Enter Intuit ID", appears to confirm that.

Problems with the Intuit ID have been reported recently in the Quicken Community, you might want to search there.

The latest release of Q2017 is R10. I'm not convinced that there is any compelling reason to install that release; but if you want it now, go here

download the R10 patch, and install (run) it (with Quicken NOT running). [If there are problems installing, or running, the R10 standard patch, download and install the R10 Mondo patch (from the same site).]

Excuse me, but I just checked my Q17 Premier (R6) and when checking for updates it reports I have the latest. So, R10??

Quicken R10 is being pushed down in stages. That way if anything goes wrong they can stop it before everyone gets it.

But if you want it before it is offered to you just go to the link provided above and read the Release notes and then download the patch if you want.

The change over to the Quicken ID is supposed to be completed by the end of September I do believe.

I agree - I though it was the transition patch, but was never taken through the transition process and as you noted, shows Intuit ID.

I don't recall what I did to get downloads working again.

Were there releases 7, 8 and 9? When I click on Help->Check for updates - it reports that I am running the latest release (R6). And the release notes for R10 are pretty scarce. If you follow the link to previous release notes ... only R2,R3 and R4 appear.

Releases 7, 8 & 9 were "internal" releases that never made it to the public .

And the R10 Mondo, and release notes, are exactly where they always are: ht tps://

FWIW I am on R6 and get an "available update" popup when starting Q2017 (US) today.
