This is off topic, but I thought there might be some tax men that read this group.
I used telephone efile or telefile to file my 4868, automation extension for the form 1040. A message at the end of the process says this is the last year to do this via phone.
I went to the irs.gov site and looked at free efile. Most don't have 4868 and those that say they do are misleading. After filing out all the stuff to file, if you choose an extension, they say , for example, "that will be $19.95" So much for free. It take a lot of time to fill out every screen to find out they don't have extension filing.
Is there a free, no questions asked efile for Form 4868?
